Red Bird Employees have a long history of supporting Non-Profit institutions and giving back to their community. In 2015 a local Non-Profit had closed due to lack of funding. The Red Bird Employees got together and devised a plan to save it. “Maestro” Bruno’s training as a Funding Raising Executive enabled him and his team to save the entityand to secure the necessary funding to upgrade the facility. The Red Bird/Concert Pianos Team has worked hard along with the employees of Thrift Angels and the Volunteers to continue their good work in the Bowie Texas Community.

Thrift Angels is a Non-Profit Entity that operates a 10,000 sq. ft. Thrift Store.The Thrift Store is 3 doors down from Concert Pianos Main Showroom. Both are located in the small town of Bowie, Texas, population 5,800. The Thrift Store serves 900 customers per month. The Thrift Angels store is the main place in Bowie that residents shop for all of their needs. Each month the Thrift Angels team issues shopping vouchers to assist the following organizations. CASA Child advocacy center,the Women’s Shelter, 28 of the local churches who request vouchers for any family in need. All of the School counselors can also request shopping vouchers for families in need. During 2018 Thrift Angelsassisted the victims from Hurricane Harvey in Houston Texas. They have delivered throughout the year over 9,000 articles of clothing to the victims. During the year Concert Pianos on their Ebay site will tag a number of accessories and pianos with a 10% contribution of the selling price to be donated to Thrift Angels. Concert Pianos management and employees regularly donate their time to assist in the needs of Thrift Angels. Red Bird, when needed will cover any shortfall in funds that Thrift Angels might encounter.
